From Montague Gardens to the Winelands and West Coast, our support team keeps the job moving from first call to final handover.

Support

When you need help on the day

If a cabinet is warming up, a cold room is drifting out of range, or an aircon has stopped during a hot spell, the first step is simple: send the details through and we will route it to the right technician. We handle call-outs for commercial clients across Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Malmesbury and Vredenburg, with support from our base in Montague Gardens.

We work with shops, farms, restaurants and storage sites that cannot afford guessing. The more we know at the start, the quicker we can narrow down the fault and decide whether it is a power issue, gas loss, blocked drain, dirty coil or a control problem. That saves time on site and helps avoid repeat visits.

What to include in a support request

Please give us the location, the equipment type, the problem you are seeing and whether anything has changed recently. If the site is affected by load-shedding, storms, a reset after a power cut or a recent cleaning job, say so. Those details often point us in the right direction before the van leaves.

  • Site name and area
  • Equipment type and room or unit size
  • Fault symptoms, alarms or error codes
  • Preferred access times and contact person
  • Any temperature readings, if available

If you manage several sites, we can keep the record tied to the right branch or property. That makes repeat support simpler when you need follow-up service later in the season.

Support for planned maintenance and contracts

Many of our clients use support to manage planned maintenance instead of waiting for a breakdown. That can include coil cleaning, drain clearing, temperature logging, filter checks, seasonal start-up and shutdown preservation. On contract sites, we also keep an eye on repeat faults so small problems do not turn into expensive downtime.

Charlene coordinates contracts and service dates, while the technicians handle the site work. If your business needs a monthly, quarterly or seasonal schedule, we can set it up around trading hours, harvesting cycles or delivery windows. It helps keep equipment running steady in the heat, and also during the damp coastal months when corrosion can creep in.

Cold-room and refrigeration issues we support

Cold-room support is often about detail. A room can look fine on the outside while a blocked drain, iced coil, poor door seal or failed sensor is pushing the temperature off target. Lutho and Anele handle fault finding, servicing and repairs for cold rooms, display units and other refrigeration equipment used by shops and farms.

  • Temperature drift and warm product complaints
  • Ice build-up and poor airflow
  • Door seals, hinges and closing issues
  • Drain blockage and water pooling
  • Leak detection and refrigerant loss checks

We also support temperature logging where records are needed for compliance, stock control or internal audit trails. If there is a history of intermittent faults, we can track patterns over more than one visit, which often shows what is really going on.

Aircon support for offices, shops and staff areas

Aircon support covers more than just a quick clean. We handle servicing, installer follow-up, seasonal start-up and shutdown preservation for commercial units and staff spaces. Ruan works on installs and support where a unit needs a proper restart after winter, or a careful shut-down before a quiet period.

In the Western Cape, aircon systems take a knock from dust, salt air and long summer runs. Regular servicing helps the unit breathe easier and can lower the chance of nuisance trips when the temperature climbs. It also gives your team a more stable working area, which matters when the shop floor or packing area gets busy.

How we work from first call to sign-off

Bianca handles client support and makes sure the call is logged with the right site details. From there, we decide whether the issue needs an emergency response, scheduled maintenance or a specialist visit. Morne oversees the support side so the job is matched to the right person and the outcome is practical, not overcomplicated.

We aim to keep communication clear and plain. You will know who is coming, what they are looking for and what was done on site. If parts need to be sourced or a second visit is required, we say so upfront rather than leaving you to guess. That direct approach keeps support manageable for busy managers and farm teams alike.
